Welcome

How do we learn from the information in the world around us? How do our perceptual and cognitive abilities change as we grow? And how do those evolving abilities alter the way we interact with the world – and with other people?

At the LEAF Lab, we conduct studies for infants, children, and adults to help answer these questions. We’re especially interested in children’s Learning Environments and Auditory Features of that environment – in other words, their perceptions and interactions with sound, including songs, rhythms, and voices. Our lab team, led by Professor Haley Kragness, is at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA – but since many of our studies are conducted online, you can participate from anywhere!
