In this online study, children look and listen to a series of instruments. We ask them to pick which of two characters on the screen they would pick to play it.
Baby see, baby do?
This study is not currently active.
In this study, we want to know whether babies imitate more when music is playing than when other sounds (like a woman speaking) are playing. This experiment will help us better understand the role imitation might play in baby’s dancing, and the development of auditory-motor coordination more broadly.
